Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him), saying:
When a man goes out of his house and utters: In the name of Allah; I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power (to resist evil) but in Allah, the following (words) will be said to him at that time: You are guided, defended and protected. The devil will go far away from him.
