Al-Nu`man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said:
The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are like the body. If one of the organs is afflicted, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.

Lessons Deduced:
1. The hadith urges the Muslims to retain mutual love, kindness, cordiality, and sympathy among the society for these attributes unify the Muslims’ feelings whether happy or sad.
2. The hadith aggrandizes the value of fulfilling the common rights among the Muslims and exhorts them to be merciful with one another.
