`Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Who is the best among people? The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) replied:
That whose life is long and his conduct is good, is the best of people.

- Reaching old age is meritorious if it is accompanied by good deeds.
- Muslims should seize the opportunity of old age to multiply their record of good deeds.
