On the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
The parable of a house in which Allah is mentioned, and that in which Allah is not mentioned, is like the difference between the living and dead persons.

Lessons Deduced:
1. Neglecting the remembrance of Allah is like death, because if one abandons
remembrance of Allah in his house, he will be inattentive to doing good deeds, and thus the house will be as dismal and useless as the grave or as a dead body.
