Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) had said: I have seen a man going about in Paradise rewarded because of cutting down a tree which was overhanging a road and harming the Muslims.

Lessons Deduced:
- It is recommended to remove any impediment that may disturb people in the streets. It is also recommended to do anything that is of interest to Muslims and prevents their harm.
- Islam enjoins that public works like roads and gardens be preserved and kept clean.
