On the authority of Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not indulge in superfluous talk except the remembrance of Allah because much talk without the remembrance of Allah hardens the heart and those will be the farthest from Allah whose hearts are hard. (Reported by Al-Tirmidhi)

Lessons Deduced:
- A Muslim should restrain his tongue and talk about things that only lead to Allah's satisfaction. One should also guard his genitals against committing what is prohibited.
