Al-Hasan bin `Ali (Allah be pleased with them) narrated that he remembered these words from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Abandon what appears doubtful to you, and adhere to that which is not doubtful for truth is peace of mind and falsehood is doubt.

(Reported by Al-Tirmidhi)

Lessons Deduced:
- People should avoid dubious things and do only what is clearly lawful. Those who avoid dubious things preserve the soundness of their faith and honor.
- Truthfulness brings calm, tranquility, courage, self-confidence and trustworthiness. Falsehood, on the other hand, brings doubt, hesitation, fear, humility and untrustworthiness.
