Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicated when he went to bed at night:
With Your name, O Allah, I expire and return to life; and supplicated on rising: All praise belongs to Allah Who has resorted us back to life after causing us to die. Towards Him shall we return.

Lessons Deduced:
1. It is recommended to say this remembrance upon waking and going to sleep to start and end the day in
remembrance. This makes a Muslim near Allah in his waking and sleep,
and he will not be forgetful of his Lord.
